G/L Accounts |
The G/L Accounts folder contains icons that lead to forms for displaying and editing account information. |

These forms let you create account records, display account balances, maintain budget information, view source-currency information, display transaction history and fiscal set comparisons, and set account permissions |
Chart of Accounts |
Displays all of the accounts in the general ledger, in account number order, beginning with the account you specify. |
The Chart of Accounts form includes the information entered for an account on the Detail tab in the G/L Accounts form, and it includes buttons that let you display account history, budget information, transaction history, fiscal set comparisons, and currency information (in multicurrency ledgers) for the account you selected. |

Source Currency Inquiry |
In multicurrency systems, you can display source-currency transaction amounts with their equivalent amounts in the functional currency for any fiscal period, including the adjustment and closing periods. Information includes the source-currency code and name (description), and the account balance in both the source and functional currencies. |

You can choose to view the year and period for an account, and choose the source code and source currency (if you have a multicurrency ledger). |
You can drill down to the original batch entry by double-clicking on the transaction. |
Fiscal Set Comparison |
Displays the net changes or balances in each fiscal period for two selected fiscal sets. Also displays the difference between the balances of the two fiscal sets and the percentage of base represented by the amounts (the ratio of difference between the fiscal sets). You can see either the cumulative amount or net change by period. |
In multicurrency systems, you can choose either the source or equivalent amounts for a specified currency. |

Create Accounts |
Lets you create new account records automatically by: |
A range of accounts |
A range of account groups |
A specific segment code |
Create Accounts lets you automatically generate new General Ledger accounts that have the same characteristics as a set of existing base accounts. For example, if you need to create a set of accounts for a new department, you can create a set of new accounts using the accounts for an existing department as the model. |
