FAQ

21. What countries have TLD landmark coverage?

TLD landmarks are available for every country, excluding Japan, South Korea and North Korea (countries without 2G GSM network).

22. How are TLD landmarks selected?

Landmarks that are used for tracking purposes always include plenty of intelligence in a way how local landmarks are selected. TLD does not include all landmarks, only meaningful landmarks with local significance for tracking usage. This guarantees best possible user friendliness and functionality together with T22 features.

23. How often does Tramigo update TLD landmarks?

Due to the dynamic and chancing nature of landmarks, Tramigo is committed to continuous updates of its data to ensure the best possible quality of every TLD. Landmarks for every country are updated and verified several times every year.

24. How can I add my own landmarks into my T22?

You can add your own landmarks into TLD by using the "AddPlace" feature (See T22 Manual).

25. What if my T22 is not in GSM coverage and sends SMS message(s), what will happen to these SMS Messages?

T22 can store up to 20 SMS messages and will send at the first opportunity once GSM signal has been retrieved. Incoming SMS to your T22 are stored by the GSM operator.

26. How can we check if T22 has credits on it if we are using a prepaid SIM?

Use the LB (LowBalance) command if your credit reports are via SMS. T22 will forward to you an SMS message from the mobile number you have specified in the LB command.

27. If I have added multiple user locations but with the same name and issue delete command, will it delete all those user added locations?

T22 will only store one user location with the same name, so if you add another landmark (using the AddPlace command) with the same name, the first landmark is deleted.

28. If I have periodic find for a time interval and my unit goes to sleep mode, will it still send SMS messages?

No. The unit will stop the timer and will resume when the unit wakes up.

29. What is M1 Move?

M1 Move is a software for your smart phone that provides menus for using your T22 and can display the locations on your mobile.

30. What is M1 Fleet?

Send the command Coord,on>Coord, dec to your T22 and send a Find command again. Successive reports will now be shown on the map.

32. How many vehicles can I add?

There is no limit set to the number of vehicles you can add, however you should limit the number of incoming SMS as the modem can only handle between 10-20 concurrent SMS before it will bog down. If setting automatic find reports, then space them out to reduce load on the modem. Also use the distance find to reduce the load when Tramigo's are not moving.

Possible causes: No or slow Internet connection. Web based maps site blocked by administrator (firewall) - try searching for a new online map. Coordinates not in report - re-register T22 to turn on coordinates.

36. I deleted a Tramigo by mistake - what do I do?

Just re-add the Tramigo and your old reports will still be listed.

37. I see SMS received but there are no reports to view?

M1 will only add a report if the phone numbers match. Check that the phone number in the Tramigo Settings tab matches the phone number of the incoming SMS. It could also be SPAM SMS that the system received. To see the raw SMS in the database see the section in the User Manual on Exporting Data.
